Look what I saw today

I don't shop here (back in the day before I got too comfortable yes lol), but I usually check out the clothes at Express to get an idea of what's in style. Lo and behold I spotted this fabulousness.

Just had to share that...sorry for my abscence, but I've mainly been posting on my fb fan page. I even have some recent pictures (I'm so serious about purchasing a new camera since I tried to vlog my henna and that was hot a$$ mess lol). I also put Suave Coconut conditioner back in rotation since I was looking for a good leave-in. So, far so good. I know I've been asked in public what have I been doing to make my hair curly, and I just tell them I've been co-washing and adding a little butter. Then they get mad at me when they think I'm leaving out my magic product. LOL On the FB page, I posted a pic of the DIT and myself. Check it out! In the pic I have a twist out, which I quickly got rid of in two days because I missed my shrinkage (I really <3 my shrinkage). I promise to at least come back on here once a month (hey that's a start), but please check out the fb page. I also posted some of my friends' pages for their businesses, but that doesn't mean that I am not looking to spotlight entrepreneurs on the blog. If you're trying to build up your clientele please do not hesitate to post a comment under the Mrs. JAHT is looking to feature you, and we can set up an interview that way.

Oh gosh I have truely neglected my spot

I do apologize for the lack of content on here, but I have been doing a lot. We moved, and then I gradually was going around chasing a toddler. Also with us not having a computer didn't help either (the tech said our computer had the computer equivalent of HIV...wow lol).
Well there's so much that has happened on the positive note. I really do not, and will not become a teacher. I found that out after trying to write my interest letter, and as my mother said "there's no passion in this letter. Are you sure you want to do this?" I wasn't sure, but I knew our family needed one of us to pull in a little more money, and that was me. Shoot I'm a substitute for crying out loud! lol Anyways, a couple of weeks back, I was like I'm not feeling this, and decided long and hard with myself what type of plans did I want in life.
Here's my list:
1) get my masters
2) be more hands on with the little princess
3) budget more, and handle the bills
4) spend more time with hubby (hey by the time I'm 30, I want to start working on that 2nd baby lol)
5) find a career that I can telecommute

I have a love of computers, and love to write/create, so I said might as well do what I've been wanting to do. I'm going back to school to get my masters, and will have the opportunity to spend more time with my princess since I'll be doing the classes online. Eventually this will bring in more money, which will make a better future for the three (eventually four) of us. Of course hubby wasn't too thrilled about it because that meant that one person was going to be in the workforce, but he understood where I was coming from. Yay!!!

Sorry for being absent

Well I have been in the middle of trying to take care of a sick baby (the downfall of working with children, you get sick and you bring it home). I will say one product that I recommend for all of my fellow Moms out there, Vicks BabyRub. It's the goodness of regular Vicks mixed with lavender, and yes homegirl was knocked out. And Little Noses, is also a great product to use since for some reason babies hate that aspirator (yeah I would scream too if I saw something like that coming to my face). I have also been trying to get myself enrolled in classes for the Praxis I exam, so I can take that step towards becoming a Certified Teacher (I am currently enrolled in a free class courtesy of my job, so blogging might be on the slim side).
Now that debate last night...I know Joe Plumber wants to put McCain in a choke hold for putting him on blast last night (26 times he was mentioned!!!). Now we found out that he owes money in back taxes; well now we know why he didn't like Obama's tax plan (dangit I should have keeped my mouth shut). McCain looked almost like a constipated old man/Grinch (lol if you don't believe me check out the clips of the debate on www.youtube.com OR www.cnn.com). I mean when somebody curls up under your skin, one thing that you should control is body language, but hey he has so much experience in public speaking I guess he wouldn't need my reminder. Okay well let me get ready for SNL Weekday Update, and yes last week was AWESOME!!!

Until then my lovelies
deuces!!! *chucks the deuce*
